Notes for learning guides:
This opens an opportunity to practice creative thinking, spelling, penmanship, and to develop a better vocabulary. Beginning with short stories, you can work your way toward longer stories, using children’s tales or other stories with which they may be familiar, swapping out the original characters for characters or people relevant to the interests of the learner. When teaching the learner new words, incorporate a character or theme from their interests into the sentence so that the word becomes part of the world they love.
